The Chamber invites everyone to come enjoy the activities and have a lot of fun. There will be Food and Arts & Craft Vendors at the Park and Downtown Friday evening and all day Saturday.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 4th

  • 5AM:  Vendors* set up for FREE on Main Street and at Kooskia City Park
  • 4PM-7PM:  Sale by Born Again Clothing Consignments at Western Motor Inn, proceeds go to CV Track
  • 6PM:  Hometown Co-ed Softball game at Kooskia City Park, sponsored by Diehard Sports Association

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5th

  • 5AM:  Vendors* set up for FREE on Main Street and at Kooskia City Park
  • HAPPENING ALL DAY:  Try your luck and support local organizations
    • Come & Play Chicken Poop Bingo at Western Motor Inn, Main St. Funds raised go to CV Track
  • 7AM-11AM:  Rebekah & Mason All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast for only $7 at the IOOF Hall on Main Street
  • 7AM:  Fun Run registration begins in front of Umpqua Bank, cost is $15, pre-register at Syringa Clinic 926-4776 or Umpqua Bank 926-4236, contact Sheila 935-5615 or Laci 208-790-0601 for info
  • 8AM:  3ON3 Basketball Tournament registration begins at Clearwater Valley Elementary School, adult co-ed division and elementary through high school boys and girls divisions, $40 team fee goes to CVHS Boys Basketball, for more info call Coach Shorey at 520-221-6070
  • 9AM:  Kooskia Chamber Beverages booth will be selling fresh squeezed lemonade and other refreshments
  • 9AM:  Registration begins at Kooskia City Park for the Show N’ Shine, $10 entry fee, awards will be given at 3:00PM, contact Lee Bird for more info at 208-451-5863
  • 9AM:  Line-up at CV Elementary for the Kooskia Days Parade, judging begins at 9:45AM Pre-register** by calling Umpqua Bank at 208-926-4236 by August 3rd
  • 10AM-2PM:  Sale by Born Again Clothing Consignments at Western Motor Inn, proceeds go to CV Track
  • 11AM:  Watch the Kooskia Days Parade on Main Street

STARTING RIGHT AFTER THE PARADE

  • 12PM:  Ping-Pong Ball Drop for kids at Kooskia Airport, made possible by Clearwater Valley Aero Club, CV Market, & Freedom Northwest Credit Union
  • 12PM:  Horseshoes at Kooskia City Park, $20 per person, for more information, call 208-935-8260, proceeds go to Clearwater Valley/Kamiah Wrestling Team
  • 12PM:  There will be a Kiddie Carnival at Kooskia City Park, sponsored by Faith, Hope & Love Valley Bible Church Ministries, contact Teresa Barnes for more info at 208-926-4761
  • 12:30PM:  Check out the Variety Show at The Outpost on Main Street, contact Gloria at 983-0314 or 208-451-3475
  • 1PM:  Tahoe Quick Response Unit Auction at Kooskia City Park, donations welcome 208-935-5901
  • 1PM:  Support the VFW by playing BINGO at Kooskia City Park
  • 3PM:  Awards will be given out at Kooskia City Park for the Show N’ Shine
  • 3PM-12PM:  Kooskia Chamber Beer Garden will be on Main Street
  • 8PM-12PM:  Street Dance on Main Street with Joshua Crosby, sponsored by Freedom Northwest Credit Union

SUNDAY AUGUST 6th

  • 5:30AM:  Clean-up on Main Street and at Kooskia City Park, recyclers & volunteers are welcome, bring gloves & brooms, a no-host breakfast to follow at Kooskia Cafe’
  • 10AM:  Join the Life Center for a day of family fun at Kooskia City Park. Enjoy some country gospel performed by the Hubbard Family from Texas. Listen to a short message, followed by a softball game and a BBQ. Bring a covered dish, mitt and lawn chairs.

*Vendors will begin setting up Friday & Saturday on Main Street and at Kooskia City Park; spaces are on first-come, first-served basis, please bring extra garbage cans, inquiries can be sent to the contacts listed below
