CHAMBER
The Greater Kooskia Chamber of Commerce was formed in the spring of 1995. The Chamber is a non-profit that advocates for local businesses and is supported by its volunteer members made up of businesses and individuals. It is not a part of local government. It works to promote the health of the local economy and the strength of the community. All people are welcome to become members, as a business or individual. The Chamber is about “group effort” and doing things together. Being an active member has benefits such as:
- -Making a difference in the community
- -Participating in educational programs
- -Attaining new contacts
- -Community visibility through brochures, website, and advertising
- -Satisfaction of helping one another accomplish goals
