Hunting
From birds to big game, North Central Idaho is a bountiful hunting ground. In fact North Central Idaho boasts nearly half the statewide population of elk and whitetail deer. In addition, hunters will find moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, cougar and black bear.
Fishing
The Kooskia area is known for its world-class clear, sparkling rivers and steelhead, cutthroat, Chinook salmon and rainbow trout, bass, whitefish, and other popular game fish species. This is a fisherman’s paradise.
